Enviro-Rock is a lightweight foam glass aggregate used beneath slabs and foundation systems where reduced loading, drainage, thermal performance, or frost resistance are important. At approximately 200–240 kg/m³, it can replace heavier conventional granular fill while providing a free-draining, insulating layer within the below-grade assembly.

Enviro-Rock provides a stable, lightweight granular layer beneath slabs, footings, and other foundation systems. Its low unit weight helps reduce loading on underlying soils while its open structure provides approximately 42% void space for drainage and capillary-break performance.
A design thermal value of approximately R-2 per inch can also allow the same layer to contribute to below-grade insulation.
