Enviro-Rock is a lightweight foam glass aggregate used as backfill behind retaining walls where reducing lateral loading and managing water are important. At approximately 200–240 kg/m³, its low unit weight can significantly reduce the weight of the backfill zone compared with conventional granular materials while maintaining a free-draining granular structure.

Overview
The weight of conventional backfill contributes directly to the lateral earth pressures acting on a retaining structure. As wall height and backfill depth increase, reducing the unit weight of the material behind the wall can substantially reduce the load carried by the wall and its foundation.
Enviro-Rock provides a lightweight, free-draining backfill zone behind the retaining structure. Its low density reduces the weight of the retained material, while its open aggregate structure supports drainage and helps limit water buildup behind the wall.
