Excavate to grade
- Prepare the area to the elevations shown in the project drawings
- Remove loose material, debris, and standing water as required

Install Geotextile
- Install geotextile where shown or specified for the application
- Cover the base and sides, with overlaps completed to project requirements

Place Enviro-Rock
- Place gently in controlled lifts appropriate to the application
- Spread evenly while keeping the material clean and limiting particle breakage

Light compaction
- Where required, use light equipment and controlled passes
- Allow for an approximate 20% reduction in loose thickness unless otherwise specified

Cover/Wrap Layer
- Fold or install the geotextile over Enviro-Rock where specified
- Keep the material separated, clean, and confined before covering

Install cap layer
- Place the specified cover, base, soil, or slab assembly
- Complete construction according to the approved project drawings and specifications

Skid Steer
- Restricted Access: May be useful in smaller or confined installation areas
- Controlled Placement: Can place and spread material around edges, corners, and utilities
- Tracked Operation: Tracks may help distribute equipment loads and reduce surface disturbance
Bulldozer
- Bulk Spreading: May be used to spread and level material across larger areas
- Controlled Grading: Allows gradual shaping using light, controlled passes
- Extended Reach: Useful for trenches and locations with limited equipment access

- Controlled Placement: May place and spread material without travelling directly over it
- Precision: Allows gentle placement around edges, utilities, and confined areas

Wheeled Equipment
- Concentrated Loading: Tire loads may disturb or displace exposed Enviro-Rock
- Surface Damage: Can crush particles and disturb layers

Compaction Equipment Reference
Static Roller
- Uniform Loading: Applies consistent pressure across the surface
- Surface Seating: Helps seat and level the material evenly
- Open Areas: May be appropriate for open installation areas
Plate Compactors
- Controlled Compaction: May be used for light, controlled surface seating
- Multiple Passes: Use repeated light passes rather than aggressive compaction
- Confined Areas: May be used for smaller or restricted-access installations
Hand Tamper
- Touch-Ups: For edges, corners, and confined areas
- Restricted Access: Useful where larger equipment cannot reach
- Light Seating: Apply light, controlled pressure only
High-Impact Compaction
- Point Loading: Concentrated impact may damage or displace particles
- Aggressive Force: Avoid jumping-jack directly on Enviro-Rock
