Why Lightweight Matters


The weight of fill material can have a significant impact on settlement, bearing conditions, structural loading, and lateral earth pressures.

Because Enviro-Rock has a much lower unit weight than conventional granular fill, significant fill depths can be placed while adding substantially less load to the underlying ground or supporting structure.

This is especially useful on projects involving soft or compressible soils, elevated structures, deep fills, or existing construction where additional dead load needs to be minimized.
