    BENEFITS & PROPERTIES

    Chemical Resistance

Mineral-based fill that remains stable in demanding below-grade environments.

Enviro-Rock is manufactured from recycled glass and forms a stable, inorganic foam-glass aggregate. Its mineral composition does not rot or biologically decompose and can provide durable fill in applications exposed to soil, moisture, and common environmental conditions.

    Inorganic Glass Composition
Made from recycled glass, Enviro-Rock is an inorganic mineral aggregate that does not rely on organic components that can break down or decay over time.

    Long-Term Chemical Stability

Its inorganic foam-glass composition helps maintain material stability through long-term exposure to typical environmental conditions.

    Does Not Rot or Biodegrade

Its inorganic foam-glass composition does not rot or biologically decompose, helping the material remain stable within buried fill applications.

    Why Chemical Resistance Matters

Fill materials can remain in contact with soil, groundwater, salts, and other environmental conditions for decades. Material degradation can affect long-term stability and create additional maintenance or replacement concerns.

Enviro-Rock’s glass-based, inorganic composition does not rely on organic fibres or materials that can rot or biologically decompose. This helps the aggregate maintain its physical form in typical below-grade and civil applications.

This makes chemical and material stability particularly relevant where fill will remain permanently buried or exposed to changing soil and groundwater conditions over the life of the project.

Where Chemical Resistance Makes a Difference

    Foundations & Below-Grade Fill

Provides inorganic fill for assemblies exposed to long-term soil and groundwater contact.

    Utility Trenches & Buried Infrastructure

Provides stable backfill around buried infrastructure where moisture and changing ground conditions may be present.

    Retaining Wall Backfill

Maintains a mineral-based fill zone behind retaining structures without organic decay.
